Retired model-turned-brand leader Tyra Banks has launched a new website aimed at celebrating the individuality of women. The entrepreneur's TypeF.comsite will help style members who signup by giving them tips and makeover advice based on their own body type. Announcing the new venture on " The Ellen DeGeneres Show " on Thursday, March 10, Banks said, "With a lot ofmagazines, it tells you exactly what you're supposed to look like and if you don't look likethis... you're a loser, you're not good enough.I have to admit I was a model for many years and modeled in the magazines that promoted that image. She adds, "What TypeF does is it says, 'You are beautiful and you are you... Women in our individuality is what is beautiful.' The site is all about personalization. If you go on and you log in... and say, 'I have a short, blond pixie cut, I have my piercing blue eyes, I have an oval-shaped face, I am 5'8"...' You type all of this stuff in and when you continue to come back to the site, we deliver stuff for you, exactly for your type."
