Jeff Lemire to draw 'Jonah Hex'

DC Comics has announced that award-winning cartoonist Jeff Lemire will provide artwork for Jonah Hex .
According to the publisher's blog, the Sweet Tooth creator is to serve as illustrator on issue #69 of the supernatural Western. A roster of high-profile artists, including Darwyn Cooke, J.H. Williams III, Eduardo Risso, Fiona Staples and Jordi Bernet, have already worked on the title. Regular writing duo Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray will pen the issue.
Created by John Albano and Tony DeZuniga, Jonah Hex first appeared in All-Star Western #10 in 1971. The character has appeared in several DC series, crossover events and animated features over the years.
Last summer, Jonah Hex was adapted for cinema by Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures. Themovie starred Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Megan Fox. It received largely negative reviews . Jonah Hex #69 arrives in stores in July.

House nixes Owens bill to rescue military's pay

WASHINGTON — The House cast aside a proposal by Rep. William L. Owens Thursday to rescue military pay in the event of a government shutdown, as Republicans insisted onlinking that issue to budget cuts in other areas.
Mr. Owens's measure, offered as a Democratic alternative to the GOP'sone-week spending extension, fell on a party-line vote. One Republican, Rep. Walter B. Jones, R-N.C., supported it.
The Republican measure passed the House easily, although Mr. Owens, D-Plattsburgh, and most Democrats voted against it. It cuts$12 billion and funds the Defense Department through the end of the fiscal year, removing the possibility that defense employees and soldiers would be affected by a shutdown.
In the Senate, Democratic LeaderSen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., called the one-week extension a non-starter and said he opposes yet another short-term measure to keep the government running — though he indicated an openness to what he called a "clean" measure. The White House took a similar stance.

WASHINGTON -- Congressional and Obama administration negotiators worked at the White House until nearly 2 a.m Thursday morning in aneffort to finalize a budget deal that would stave off a government shutdown. But while top aides to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) -- alongside the White House's director of legislative affairs, Rob Nabors -- were able to come to a closer understanding about the size of spending cuts, a major dispute remains over what type of policy amendments will be allowed in the final bill. According to a top-ranking Democratic aide, the three parties met last night at the White House for about three and a half hours after President Barack Obama, Reid and Boehner held talks of their own. The negotiations were productive, the aide said. Democrats agreed to add roughly $1.5 billion in spending cuts to the $33 billion to which they had already agreed. In exchange, they were told that the overall package of cuts would be restructured, with $3 billion in savings drawn from Pentagon spending rather than discretionary programs -- a priority for the Democratic negotiators, the aide said. The forward movement ended there, however. Boehner spokesmanMichael Steel stressed on Thursday morning that "there is no agreementon spending cuts." He also added that the two sides remained apart on policy issues. Indeed, the Democratic aide, who was briefed on last night's negotiations, said that "talks broke off without resolution last night over riders," the policy amendments that GOP leadership has attached to the spending bill. Disagreements centered around whether or not the final legislative language should include a revamp of the way federal money is spent on family planning services. Republicans insisted that the systembe amended so that funds be sent through state governments instead of directly to organizations -- like Planned Parenthood -- themselves. Democrats countered that such a change would be a de facto means of not just denying abortions but also limiting access to cancer screenings, pap smears, and blood pressure checks, among other things. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) both issued statements indicating that a budget deal would be blown up if such language was included. And so negotiators wait to see if the final hurdle can be overcome. Park Jin-young, Kim Soo-hyun, Taecyeon nominated for best new actor at PaekSang Arts Awards

Top Korean producer and founder of JYP Entertainment Park Jin-young, actor Kim Soo-hyun and 2PM member Tacyeon have been nominated for the award of best new actor at the 47th PaekSang Arts Awards.
The official website for the awards revealed Friday that Park and Kim received nominations for their roles in KBS’ musical TV series “Dream High,” a joint production between entertainment firms KEYEAST and JYP Entertainment, while Taecyeon was selected for his role in KBS’ “Sister of Cinderella.”
Other notable nominees in the same category included Kim Soung-o from SBS’ hit series “Secret Garden” and Park Yuchun for his role in KBS’ historical drama “SungKyunKwan Scandal.”
This year’s PaekSang Arts Awards, into its 47th edition, will take place at the Peace Palace located in Kyung-hee University of Seoul on May 26.
Park and Kim both starred in “Dream High” which tells of the dreams of students who attend a performing arts school aimed at cultivating celebrities. The show brought in high viewership ratings during its run from early January to late February this year in the Monday and Tuesday nights primetime slot.
“Sister of Cinderella,” which aired from March 31 to June 3 last year, is about the un-fairytale-like story of Cinderella’s sister which also starred Korean actors Moon Geun-young, Chun Jung-myung and Seo Woo.

Suri's Turning 5 - And It's Gonna Be A Circus!

Health care: Reform act benefits LGBTs

LGBT Americans have much to gain with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the health care reform law passed by Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama in March 2010, according to a recent report issued by an LGBT-friendly progressive think tank.

Some of the benefits LGBT Americans could see due to the legislation, according to the report's authors, include an expansion of Medicaid eligibility for many people unable to afford health insurance or health care; increased cultural competency on LGBT issues for medical professionals; and improved data collection to better identify and address health disparities within the LGBT community.

"Only one provision (Section 5306, regarding participation by people of 'different genders and sexual orientations' in mental and behavioral health education and training programs) explicitly mentions the LGBT community, but the law as a whole implicitly recognizes the toll that disparities, discrimination, and inequity are taking on gay and transgender people as part of the fabric of American society," concludes the report.

Titled "Changing the Game: What Health Care Reform Means for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Americans," the 31-page report was issued by the Center for American Progress, a think tank with Democratic ties that has offices in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles.

The New York-based foundation is an offshoot of the fashion brand Candie's, which is part of Iconix Brand Group Inc. Cole is chairman, CEO and president of Iconix. Sarah Palin has generated controversy almost from the moment 2008 Republican presidential contender Sen. John McCain named her as hisrunning mate, and Cole said that applies to Bristol Palin also, which helps his organization. "She is such a lightning rod," Cole said. "Everyone is familiar with the Palins, and Bristol turned out to be, as someone said today, the gift that keeps on giving." Some commentators have criticized the payments. But Cole defended the foundation's 2009 practice ofspending only $35,000 on direct health and assistance services, versus the money paid to Bristol Palin. OPM : Government Shutdown Threat Addressed By Office OfPersonnel Management

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a statement addressing what a government shutdown would mean for federal employees should lawmakers fail to reach a budget agreement ahead of a Friday deadline. "The President has made it clear that he does not want a government shutdown, and the Administration is willing and ready to work day and night to find a solution that all sides can agree with," the statement said. "That said, given the realities of the calendar, prudent management requires we plan for an orderly shutdown should thenegotiations not be completed by the end of the current continuing resolution." OPM explains that if a shutdown does occur, departments and agencies on the federal level would berequired to comply with contingency plans distinguishing operations that must be stopped from those which would be allowed to continue. HuffPost's Dean Praetorius outlined on Tuesday what one could expect in the event of a shutdown: A government shutdown occurs when a government discontinues providing services that are not considered "essential." Typically, essential services include police, fire fighting, armed forces, utilities and corrections. Interestingly, Congress and the President are exempt from the furlough and continue to receive compensation despite the fact that other services are suspended.

Review: 2011 Audi S5

Everyone hates the BMW M3. If you need proof of that, simply look at the sheer number of times auto manufacturers compare their latest wares to the M3. The green-eyed monster is alive and well for a reason: the M3 is a performance legend whether or not you agree it’s the performance king. The M3 is Elvis, King Arthur, Robin Hood and the Fountain of Youth all rolled into one. The seemingly insurmountable task of dethroning the M3 encourages all manner of attempts from every unlikely angle of the automotive world from the former Volvo V70R to the Nissan 350Z. In Audi’s corner: the S5 coupe.

Audi has had BMW in its sights for some time, but the A5/S5 is the first real shot across the performance coupe bow in a while. Back in 2007 Audi’s R&D department seemed to suffer from the same issue Volvo was up against in 2004: designing a vehicle to battle E46 M3 instead of the soon-to-be-announced E92 M3. When you look at the S5 in this light, it makes sense that Audi didn’t deliberately take a 354HP V8 to a 400+ horsepower fight. In attempt to perhaps make up for the power shortcomings, Audi revised the S5 gently in 2010 bringing a revised telematics system (the third generation MMI), redesigned lamps and a new trick active sport differential to the party. At just about the same time, BMW announced more appropriate S5 competition in the form of the 335is. Coincidence? You decide.

Stylistically, the Audi S5 is the farm girl with perfect skin compared to the airbrushed fashion models from BMW and Mercedes. The flowing lines are undoubtedly sexy however slightly plain in comparison to the crazy bulges, flares and creases worn by the competition. For 2010 the only changes to the exterior are new LED tail lamps bringing the S5 up to date with the rest of the Audi lineup.

Inside, Audi’s recent goth trend continues unabated. Henry Ford would be proud of Audi’s interior design color palatte; buyers can have whatever color dashboard, center console, doors and carpets they desire, as long as it’s black. The monochromatic theme was slightly broken up in our tester by the creamy “Silk Napa Leather” covering everything that wasn’t plastic. Although you can opt for beige, brown or red leather, the majority of the interior will always be black. While I do appreciate a dark interior, the all-black style and high beltline may turn off some buyers. Still, interior components are all first rate in terms of feel and the available birch wood trim adds much needed warmth to the interior. Compared to the M3 and 335is, Audi’s interior parts are all of similar quality, but BMW’s more liberal use of color and optional trim allow buyers to break up the vast expanses of soft-touch plastics in a way only the more expensive Audis allow.

Audi shoppers I spoke with were confused by the S5 coupe and s5 cabriolet, so allow me to explain. Despite the fact that the S5 coupe and S5 cabrio are basically the same car, the drivetrain is totally different. The S5 coupe is motivated by ye olde 354HP 4.2L V8 that has been Audi’s V8 of choice for some time coupled to a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, whereas the S5 sans-top benefits from Audi’s latest 3.0L supercharged V6 engine and a 7-speed DSG.

Despite the slight horsepower reduction vs the 4.2L V8 (333HP & 325lb-ft vs 354HP & 325lb-ft) the only major downside to the 3.0T is the distinct reduction in aural satisfaction caused by the missing cylinders. The upside to the new engine and transmission can readily be seen in the 0-60 times (5.1 as tested for the coupe vs 5.2 according to Audi for the cabrio) and in the significantly better mileage; 17/26 vs 14/22 for the V8. On the surface it sounds like the V8 is the better engine for the job, but the topless S5 weighs as much as a BMW 740i tipping the scales at 4310lbs almost 400lbs heavier than the coupe. While the aural purists may welcome the continuation of the V8 in the S5, I’d take the supercharged six any day.

GOP Rep. Paul Ryan roils DC with controversial Medicare-slashing budget, would repeal Obamacare

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) is grabbing the third rail of American politics with both hands. The Republican budget guru unveiled a sweeping 2012 federal budget proposal Tuesday that many critics say would essentially eliminate Medicare , the national health plan for the elderly. Republicans say that without spending cuts, America faces a dire, fiscally insolvent future. The unprecedented plan, dubbed "the path to prosperity," would slash the budget deficit by about $6.2 trillion over the next decade,and reduce the deficit by$4.4 trillion. It would also repeal the health care bill signed by President Obama last year. Many commentators give the plan little chance of passing a Democratically controlled Senate, let alone of winning the President's signature. But it does reframe the debate in Washington , with Republicans showing they'rewilling to propose politically risky cuts to keep the deficit from spiraling out of control. Under the proposal, the government would give Medicare beneficiaries vouchers for private coverage instead of directly reimbursing hospitals for seniors' care, which it does today. DSDS 2011: Pietro Lombardi enttäuscht – Sarah Engels kann es verstehen

Publikumsliebling und Mädchenschwarm Pietro Lombardi zeigte leider in der fünften Mottoshow schwache Nerven, denn bei seinem zweiten Song hatte er einen kurzen Texthänger. Pietro Lombardi sang in der fünften Mottoshow mit “Deutschland gegen England” in der ersten Runde super-gut den englischen Song von Sting mit “Every Breath You Take”. Pietro sang in der zweiten Runde das deutsche Lied von Ayaman “Mein Stern” und hatte dann den Texthänger.
Später sagte Pietro dazu, dass er dachte dass er den Text falsch gesungen hätte und deshalb war er etwas durcheinander gewesen. “Jackpot” Pietro Lombardi war von sich sichtlich selbst enttäuscht gewesen, aber auch Sarah Engels hat mit ihm nach eigenen Aussagen gelitten, denn sie weiß wie hoch der Druck auf dem beliebten Kandidaten wirklich war.
Dabei hatte es in den Proben immer ohne Fehler in seinen zwei Songs geklappt. Aber schon vor dem Auftritt von Pietro wurde spekuliert “schafft es Pietro Lombardi wirklich zwei Lieder ohne Fehler zu singen?“. So setzte sich Pietro schon selbst sehr großen Druck aus und zeigte dann auch einen kleinen Texthänger.

Den zweiten Platz bei DSDS hat Menowin Fröhlich erreicht, doch weiter hat er es bisher nicht gebracht. Nachdem er sich nicht an seine Bewährungsauflagen gehalten hat, sitzt er in der Justizvollzugsanstalt bei Darmstadt ein. Seine erste Single mit dem Titel “If You Stayed” soll am 08. April dieses Jahres erscheinen und den ersehnten, großen Durchbruch und den damit verbundenen Geldsegen bringen. Der Text ist von einem Songwriter, der diesen Song für Menowin Fröhlich geschrieben hat. Mit einem nicht veröffentlichten Song von John Bryant ist “If You Stayed” nicht identisch. Fans hat er sicherlich viele, denn mehr als 143.000 Menschen sind, so Facebook, seine Freunde. Nun muss nur noch jeder dieser Freunde seine Single kaufen, dann kann es doch noch etwas mit Erfolg und großem Geldverdienen werden. Menowin Fröhlich wird diesen Erfolg dann im Gefängnis feiern dürfen. Immerhin ist er dort noch 313 Tage Gast.

Hit By the Epsilon Security Breach? Here's How to Protect Your Personal Information 

If you're a customer of Best Buy (BBY), Citigroup (C), or any one of the 2,200 global brands that relies on email marketing giant Epsilon, you may have received a rather alarming notice over the weekend. Epsilon has reported a security breach that may have compromised your email address and name.

While it may at first sound like the identity thieves walked away with very little, the potential for damage can be great, say security experts. For example, armed with your name, email address, and the name of a company with whom you do business, identity thieves can send an authentic-looking but bogus Best Buy email asking you to supply your credit card information or other personal information. This can later be used to pilfer your financial accounts.

What You Can Do

Here are some steps consumers can take when receiving an unsolicited email, according to Kristensen:

• Open a new browser and visit the website that supposedly sent the email; check to see if it's promoting the same offer that has been sent to you unsolicited;

• Mouse over the link contained in the email and look at the lower left corner of the screen to see if the domain name matches the company that is purportedly sending the email;

• If you must click on the link, once it's open it should still show the same domain name. If it doesn't -- and it asks you for financial information like a bank account number or social security number, do not provide the information. If the opened link now has a different domain name, although it's not requesting financial information, the identity thief may have opted to infect your computer with a virus instead.

• Best advice of all is to avoid clicking on links or opening attachments placed in unsolicited emails.

• And, finally, keep your security software updated.

Best Buy and McKinsey Quarterly, two Epsilon clients that were affected by the email security breach, issued their own warnings to customers. Best Buy says in its email:

Jean-Paul Belmondo for Cannes tribute

French star Jean-Paul Belmondo is to receive a special tribute at the 64th annual Cannes Film Festival.

A special day-long celebration of the 77-year-old actor's life and work will be held on May 17, culminating with the premiere of the documentary Belmondo: The Career.

The festival's chairman Gilles Jacob and General Delegate Thierry Frémaux praised Belmondo in an official statement, citing him as one of the most acclaimed legends in the history of French cinema.

"We are delighted that he has agreed to attend this gala evening in celebration of his talent and career," Jacob and Frémaux wrote. "His range and personal charisma, the precision of his acting, his cocky wit, the ease with which he carries himself have made him, along with Jean Gabin and Michel Simon, one of the greatest French actors of all time, a fact to which many films bear ample witness."

Belmondo is perhaps best known as the most prominent star of the New Wave film movement in the 1960s, having burst onto the scene in Jean-Luc Godard's groundbreaking 1959 drama Breathless.

Besides working with Godard further on A Woman is a Woman and Pierrot le Fou, the actor went on to collaborate with some of the most well-known French filmmakers, including Francois Truffaut on the romance thriller Mississippi Mermaid, and Claude Lelouch on his World War II adaptation of Les Misérables.

It was previously announced that Robert De Niro will preside over the jury at this year's festival.

The 64th annual Cannes Film Festival will run from May 11 to May 22.

PARIS — France defender Adil Rami has only a minor neck injury after landing heavily on his shoulder during the scoreless draw with Croatia in a friendly.
The Lille player was injured in stoppage time on Tuesday at the Stade de France while trying to perform a scissor kick. He was carried off the pitch on a stretcher and underwent scans at La Pitie Salpetriere hospital.
The French football federation said Wednesday in a statement that the scans "didn't reveal any sign of seriousness."
Lille says Rami will return to the club later Wednesday and will be monitored by medical staff.
Leader Lille hosts Caen in the French league on Saturday.

Kate Gosselin is back out there and...she doesn't seem to be loving every minute of it.
"I'm kind of out-ish, sort of," the Kate Plus 8 star said cautiously during an exclusive interview with E! News. "I was out in New York...It was kind of weird. You never really picture yourself back in that scene after you're done with it in your twenties.
"But I'm trying to be a little more open-minded," added the famously no-nonsense divorcée. "If there's anybody out there that wants to deal with us, that would be good."
It's not like the mother of eight, who has gone through media hell and back over the last couple of years, hasn't come a long way, though.

"I'm encouraging the kids to enjoy their time with him," Kate says, referring to ex-hubby Jon, who—to put it mildly—she did not have the nicest things to say about when they first split up. (Not that the erstwhile man-child, who takes charge of their eight children for two weekends each month, was deserving of lavish praise at the time, of course.)
But now, Kate says, she's "keeping the communication as positive as possible." She would be more convincing if she smiled when she says that, but...baby steps.
"It feels normal to me now," she says of running a one-parent household. "I don't know when that point hit, but it does feel normal...There was an adjustment period, for sure, but I have always been in charge of running the household"—oh, burn!—"so that's no different."
And though it can be overwhelming to have to deal with each and every handyman who comes to the house, Kate says, "I feel empowered at this point."
"But if you're asking me, 'Would I love to hand that over one day?' Yes, please." she tells E! News.
While filming Kate Plus 8, she and the kids—twins Mady and Cara and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis, and Hannah—have been on trips to Alaska and Australia and enjoying all sorts of adventures. But Kate says that she now prefers being on the couch each Monday and Tuesday for Dancing With the Stars, which she failed at so spectacularly last year.
"I wouldn't have voted for myself because I root for the ones that do well," Kate says frankly, when asked if she's pulling for former partner Tony Dovolani and the new celeb on his arm, Wendy Williams. "I love Chelsea and Mark."

Ventura wouldn't. But he'd love to run with the man he dedicated his new book to -- Ron Paul -- on one condition:

Katie Couric has not officiallyquit CBS, but nonetheless network sources tell us it's a virtual certainty that she will be leaving. Sources connected with Couric tell us ... Katie has no hard feelings toward CBS and may end up staying at the network, but feels her role as anchor of the CBS Evening News has been way too confining. We're told Couric is most interested in doing a syndicated show -- probably a talk show -- but wants to end up somewhere that has a news operation where shecan contribute.  Sources say she's in serious talks with CBS, NBC and CNN.  Her reps are talking to ABC, but that's a long shot. Katie's exit from CBS EveningNews is "not 100%" but it's just a matter of time before Katie announces her departure -- sources say it will come in the next few weeks. Katie's plan is to start a syndicated show in September, 2012. As far as front-runners, a Katie source says there are none -- "Everything and everyone is in play."

Katie Couric leaving ‘CBS Evening News’: report

Less than five years after taking over the CBS Evening News , Katie Couric is moving on to other projects, according to the AP . An anonymous network executive told the news organization that Couric will launch her own syndicated talk show in 2012, on a channel that is yet to be determined. Despite a wave of publicity when she initially left NBC’s Today show for CBS News in 2006, Couric’s ratings have never lived up to her reported $15 million salary. She consistently trails Brian Williams of NBC and Diane Sawyer at ABC in viewership. “We’re having ongoing discussions with Katie Couric,” said CBS News spokeswoman Sonya McNair.“We have no announcementsto make at this time. Until we do, we will continue to decline comment on rumor or speculation.” Couric’s contract with CBS runs through June 4.

It started with a group of schoolboys looking at topless photos of their art teacher on mobile phones. Now former Miss Northern Ireland Joanne Salley could be on track to earn £1m a year after her racy photos hit the headlines and were spotted by a top showbiz agent. Publicist Max Clifford has said the teacher, who works at the exclusive Harrow School in Middlesex, should consider a career in glamour modelling. Miss Salley (32) originally from Dungannon, was photographed in at least two provocative shots wearing just a pair of tight denim jeans. She was said to be devastated when the secret pictures, found on a memory stick in her school’s photography studio, were shared among pupils and leaked to the media.
But Mr Clifford said there was no reason the Co Tyrone beauty should be ashamed of the artistic shots. “This is every schoolboy’s fantasy about their schoolmistress,” he said. “If she wants to go down that route, which she probably won’t, she could make £1m in the next year. “She is a modern-day fantasy become a reality. She could have an amazing year.” He said Miss Salley, who used to date England rugby player Matt Dawson, was “hot property” and should turn the scandal to her advantage. “Her looks and her background as a Harrow teacher make her up-market and sexy,” he added. Bosses at Harrow also stood by their employee, dismissing reports that Miss Salley had gone into hiding after quitting her job in a flood of tears. “Joanne Salley is a long-standing and successful art teacher at Harrow who has, in the past, been a model,” said Barnaby Lenon, head teacher at the £30,000-a-year school. “Photographs of her modelling were taken by a professional photographer who also teaches photography part-time at the school. “These pictures were stolen and passed on to some pupils at the school without the agreement of the photographer.”

A spokeswoman said it was “hearsay” that the majority of the school’s 825 pupils, teachers and kitchen staff had seen the pictures. The spokeswoman said the photographs were part of an art project, adding: “She hasn't left the school. She's a very good art teacher.”

Miss Salley, a Cambridge graduate, has taught at the school for several years after pursuing a successful career as a TV presenter. She is well-known in Northern Ireland’s modelling circles and was previously on the books of top model boss Alison Campbell.

More Citibank employees arrested in murder case

Police say they have named another Citibank employee a suspect in the murder of National Unity Party (PPB) politician Irzen Octa and expected to round up more suspects in the case. South Jakarta Police chief detective Adj. Sr. Comr. Budi Irawan said Sunday that the suspect, who was not identified, was a human resources clerk at the Citibank branch at the Jamsostek Tower, where the murder took place.Budi said the new suspect headed the collection officers at the Citibank branch and was the supervisor of Aries Lukman, another suspect in the case.He claimed that prior to being interrogated by the debt collectors, Octa had a telephone conversation with the suspect and both agreed to meet at the branch office to settle their differences. “However, once at the branch office, it was not the suspect who met with Octa but another staff member, who brough the victim to a private meeting,” he said. The police have not arrested the latest suspect, claiming they were currently investigating the debt collecting procedures at Citibank and whether the suspect issued a direct order for Octa to be interrogated in private.
On Friday, police named Aries, Donald and Hendry suspects in the case. The three allegedly killed Octa last Tuesday after he complained about an inflated credit card bill. Soon after airing his complaints, Octa was taken to a room where he met with the three, where the debt collectors then took turns interrogating Octa. So far, the Jakarta Police have questioned 10 witnesses in the case and expect to name more suspects in the coming days. In another criminal case involving a Citibank employee, a suspect in fraud case costing bank clients  Rp 17 billion (US$2million), Malinda Dee, hired five lawyers to defend her during the investigation and trial.
On Saturday, one of the lawyers, Indra Syahnun Lubis, visited Malinda at the National Police Headquarters detention center. Indra said Malinda may have more assets that what police had so far confiscated. He added that despite the seizures of most of her assets by police, Malinda could still afford to buy more Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. There remains widespread speculation that Malinda, who has worked for Citibank since 1989, may have stolen more from her clients. Citibank official Ditta Amahorseya declined to comment on the ongoing police investigation when approached by The Jakarta Post on the issue of Malinda’s wealth.

However, the conservative lot is strictly against such acts. Paraag, an entrepreneur, says, “Giving such nasty statements doesn’t make them a star. Comparing an emotional moment such as this with a cheap act by a model, is an indecent thing in itself.”
According to Kannan, psychologist, such acts depend on human behaviour in different situations. “There is something called blue print in a human brain that deals with attitude towards culture and circumstances. It gets modified according to the place of activities.”
Poonam, whose phone was flooded with threatening messages from the public, was last heard tweeting, “The magic worked.”
Now, the question here is: Was it all a gimmick to encourage the men in blue to win? If so, how did we win? Was it because of Poonam or Dhoni’s final six?

Have you been Facebook scammed into clicking a link about Marika Fruscio exposing her breasts on Italian TV? When you click the link on Facebook that all your friends seem to be 'Liking' it automatically likes it and shares it with your friends without you knowing it.
The joke was created to make you look like a pervert and possibly harm your PC. We haven't fully investigated it but it could trick you into typing in your credit card information if you go through with their questions.
When you click the link, you will be brought to a page where it will ask you a series of questions to see the video. You however cannot see the video no matter what. It is a fake Youtube video.
We did however track down the actual clip of Fruscio exposing yourself. Count yourself lucky that you clicked here first if you didn't fall for the scam.
In what could be an obvious ploy for attention, Marika Fruscio suffered a nipple slip on a sports show earlier in the year. We have to admit, it didn't look like she was trying to keep her dress on her breasts.

Like many memes, Trollface was conceived in the online bowels of 4chan and after-birthed all over the Internet. The squiggly, smiling face is the perfect mascot for /b/, the dank basement of 4chan notorious for racist drawings, homophobic slurs, juvenile pranks and outright attacks. One look at Trollface, and you know you're being fucked with.


With the Incredible Hulk getting the Trollface treatment in the most recent issue of Deadpool, we decided to track down the artist who originally drew that shit-eating grin. Initially nervous about getting trolled ourselves or, even worse, having our personal info posted on 4chan (um, forget we just said that), we found a well-spoken guy who said his name was Carlos Ramirez, an Oakland artist otherwise known by nom-de-troll Whynne.

"I'm 20 years old and attending a local community college, studying art and computer science," he says over AIM. "Most of what I know about art and programming I've learned from books and self-study. Which is to say not that much."

Ramirez is a big fan of video games, and he says a few years ago, /v/, the segment of 4chan devoted to gaming, was overrun by folks from /b/, "many of whom were, quite frankly, not very bright."

"So I would see these people start debates with the other posters on an hourly basis. They'd go at it back and forth, and eventually it would get to the point where you could tell one person had absolutely no idea what he/she was talking about. So instead of conceding, they would tell everyone that they were just trolling, and that they were just out to waste everyone's time. So this was something I observed a lot, people hiding behind the false pretense that they were trolling to escape criticism. So I wanted to make a silly comic to address it, something to help people identify it and laugh at it."

'The Kennedys': Do you even have ReelzChannel?

Though we don't think even our morbid curiosity is enough to make us sit through all eight parts of "The Kennedys" miniseries, we're still planning on touching base with the beleaguered historical drama when it premieres April 3. But can we even watch it? Well, it turns out, after all ourmocking of the mysterious ReelzChannel that saved the blacklisted project, a lot of TVviewers actually get the network. A quick trip over to the Reelz website reveals (revealz!) that both major U.S. satellite providers, DirecTV and Dish Network, host the channel (dial to 238 and 299, respectively). As for cable subscribers, that's where it gets a bit tricky. Major providers such as Time Warner Cable, Comcast, AT&T and Verizon do host Reelz -- but not in every market. Audrina Patridge: Can She Really Carry Her Own Show?

When it came to The Hills , Audrina Patridge was the perfect sidekick. Her wide doe eyes always staring innocently up at something ( what? ) and crying over Justin Bobby or whatever guy was currently ruining herlife provided a softer side alongside the insanity of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt . She was great in small doses, but now she's gone and gotten her own new reality show, Audrina , which premieres next month. Can we really handle an entire show about her? It's set to premiere on VH1 April 17, and I'm not sure. It's said to involve her family as they try to keep her sane in the crazy Hollywood game. As VH1 exec Jeff Olde described the show : Ultimately, this is the story ofa young woman with dreams, goals and ambitions all put through the no-BS filter of her family. We love that. But will we love it? The Hills is a pretty tough act to follow (and I'm being completely serious -- I'm still mourning its end). She has a hot bod for sure. She's always prancing around in itty bitty bikinis showing off her amazing abs,but that alone does not a show make -- it just makes me jealous.
