CBS' Lesley Visser: We'll direct viewers to best NCAA games

There's been a lot of jokes about whether TV viewers will be able to find truTV tonight as the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship gets underway. The brass at CBS Sports and Turner Sports are well aware of the possibility for viewer confusion once the tournament moves into high gearThursday, says reporter Lesley Visser . They've spent the last few months drilling the on-air troops on how to direct viewers around to games on four different channels -- CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV -- rather than just CBS. "It it will be Jim Nantz , saying, 'OK, Ohio State is a blowout. But TNT rightnow has a really close game. We've spent quite a bit of time on this," she says. Nantz thinks viewers will enjoy being able to flip around to watch different games from start to finish ifthey choose -- rather than being switched there by CBS as they have for decades. "They'll have control. Instead of waiting for somebody else to switch, they'll be able to say, 'I'll switch myself,'" says Nantz. "This is how the tournament has evolved. In the end, the viewer is being served." Nantz, Clark Kellogg , Steve Kerr and Tracy Wolfson will call tonight's games on truTV. Gus Johnson , Len Elmore and Marty Snider will call Wednesday's games on truTV.
