For the new borns or those who are just about to use a keyboard for the first time, The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is an annual awards show where kids can vote for their favorite characters and movies.

Selena Gomez just Like Selena Quintanilla?

Selena Gomez has decided that she want’s to make a Spanish album. She recently released the Spanish music video “Un Ano Sin Lluvia“, and the 18 year old singer says “I feel like for my family it would make them really proud. But because I have so many other things… I have to perfect it.”

I want my dad to come out and make sure I’m doing it right,”

“So I want to take time with it, but it’s my dream to put out an entire album in Spanish.”

Her parents named her Selena after meeting the “Queen Of Tejano Music” and it’s weird because Selena Quintanilla’s dream was to record an album in English after recording so many hits in Spanish,and now it’s Selena Gomez’s dream to put out a Spanish album after putting out 2 English albums. It makes us nostalgic.. Can’t wait to hear what music she puts out.. Here’s a clip of her paying homage to her namesake.

Chris Brown Debuts Blonde Hair on Twitter (PHOTOS)

Chris Brown took to his Twitter page to debut his new blonde hairdo Saturday. The R&B singer tweeted “look at me now,” adding a pic of his new look. He then followed up with two more photos on Sunday. Brown isn’t the only one who’s made headlines in the past week for changing up their hairstyle. Danica Mendivil, Brandon Davies' Girlfriend: BYU Basketball Player's Significant Other Revealed

Well, the word is out. And if a picture is worth a thousand words, then there’s a whole lotta lovin’ going on when basketball’s Brandon Davies and volleyball’s Danica Mendivil get together. Danica is a student at Arizona State. Which is where Davies could end up if he isn’t reinstated next season at BYU. Tell you what, though, if these kids are serious about each other, their going to end up with 8ft. tall children. Hey, should Davies be in trouble if all the fun happened off-campus in Arizona? TD Ameritrade has rolled out a mobile trading platform for Apple’s iPad that lets its clients trade equities, futures and forex.

Key features of the app include:

• Touch to trade stock, complex options, ETFs, futures and forex
• Real-time quotes
• Scroll through full-screen views of watch lists, positions, orders, news, and charts
• Manage positions and view risk and performance metrics

“This is one of the few true mobile trading platforms to offer a full range of products designed specifically to maximize iPad real estate and all its advantages,” said Nicole Sherrod, managing director, trader group, TD Ameritrade. “The TD Ameritrade iPad app can help our clients place trades faster and gain more visibility in the markets.”

Consumers can touch the iPad screen to trade stock and complex options. The TD Ameritrade Mobile application is available in Apple’s App Store.

“We have found that adopters of our mobile technology tend to me more engaged customers,” said Nicole Sherrod, managing director of Trader Group at TD Ameritrade, Omaha, NE. “They are more plugged into the markets and taking control of their finances.

“Our strategy has always been to create device specific applications for the most widely utilized mobile devices,” she said. “Apple indicated last quarter that they sold 7.3 million units.

“Further that, we have had very high demand from TD Ameritrade clients.”

Tennis star Serena Williams is recovering from a pulmonary embolism and a hematoma resulting from her treatment, according to media reports. What is a pulmonary embolism? Shortly after winning her fourth Wimbledon title last July, Williams cut her foot on a shard of glass. The severe cut required surgery and 18 stitches. Although she played an exhibition match shortly thereafter, continuing problems with the foot has kept her out of competition since then. According to a statement from her representative in People magazine, Williams was in New York last week undergoing further treatment for her foot injury. She flew back to Los Angeles and apparently suffered a pulmonary embolism during or shortly after the flight. On Feb. 28, she "underwent emergency treatment" for a hematoma she suffered as a result of her treatment for pulmonary embolism. Williams is reported to be recovering.
