Rascal Flatts' style secrets revealed

When Rascal Flatts hits the stage at the Oklahoma City Arena on Saturday night, you can bet they'll be dressed to kill. And, as with most big-name acts, they takea fashion specialist with them practically everywhere they go. Rascal Flatts' stylist is John Murphy, and here's a surprise: Many of the clothes the band wears are provided by JCPenney, which also sponsors the tour. Murphy weaves pieces from JCPenney into the band's wardrobe and then personalizes them often with jewels or by distressing them to make them pop on stage. He makes sure there's a color theme running through the trio's outfits so they lookcohesive yet allow each member to express his own signature style. Gary LeVox's trademark style is usually the flashiest, with an updated yet traditional country vibe reminiscent of the GrandOle Opry. Joe Don Rooney has a more rock-meets-vintage style with button-down shirts and tight jeans. And Jay DeMarcus' style is the most casual of the bunch. He prefers to wear rock T-shirts with straight-leg jeans and Converse sneakers.
