Jacob Lusk Voted Off 'American Idol,' J.Lo & Lady Antebellum Perform

After facing early fan (and Steven Tyler) favorite Lauren Alaina in the bottom two, Lusk gave his final performance of Luther Vandross' "A House Is Not A Home" -- a signature song of sorts for the dramatic, soulful singer. Lusk showed the crowd what they're soon to be missing with joyful rendition full of vocal improvisation.
Lusk was calm and collected during his elimination, seeming at peace with the decision and sure of his next move. He told the "Idol" audience that he's so "ready to put out good-feeling R&B music" that "reminds you of Luther [Vandross], reminds you of all those old R&B singers."
In addition to Jacob's illumination, this week's "Idol" saw performances from judge Jennifer Lopez and Grammy darlings Lady Antebellum. The country trio debuted its new single, the breezy, summery "Just A Kiss," on the "Idol" stage. Watch below.

Complete with pyrotechnics, a full set and a slew of shirtless back-up dancers, Jennifer Lopez's "Idol" performance was far more of a production than Lady Antebellum's. "On The Floor" collaborator Pitbull started off the track before kicking it over to an on-the-move J.Lo. Watch below.

he remaining contestants vying for the title of the "American Idol" are: Haley Reinhart, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and James Durbin.
